Governance and Control

Admins connect Verra to the firm's sign-in and directory, decide who can see and use what, and follow how each team uses it. Files keep the permissions they have at the source, so people see in Verra only what they could already open.

People, Groups and Roles

People sign in through the firm's single sign-on, and directory sync adds and removes them as the directory changes. Groups can follow the groups in the firm's directory, and admin roles hand out parts of the work.

  • Single Sign-On

SAML or OIDC through the firm's identity provider, on verified domains.

  • Directory Sync

Remove someone from the directory and their Verra access ends.

  • Admin Roles

Give someone one area to run, such as usage, firm knowledge bases or templates, without full admin rights.

Who Sees and Uses What

A knowledge base reaches only the people and groups it's shared with, and admins choose which Verra features each person or group can use. In the firm's own cloud, admins also set what sharing means for each data source.

  • Shared With Groups

Knowledge bases, skills and templates go to a person, a group or the whole firm, and no further.

  • Feature Settings

Turn each Verra feature on for a person, a group or everyone.

  • Mirrored Permissions

Each file keeps the permissions it has in its source, checked before an answer uses it.

See How Each Team Uses Verra

Admins see which features each team, group and person uses, week by week, and when each member was last active. It shows where Verra is part of the daily work and which teams haven't started.

  • By Team and Group

Feature use, week by week, for each team and group.

  • By Person

Each member's use of each feature, and when they were last active.

  • A Usage Role

Someone can follow usage without full admin rights.
