Verra Raises $5 Million Seed Round to Unlock Institutional Memory for Consulting Firms

NEW YORK, NY, August 11, 2026 — Verra, the institutional memory layer for consulting firms, today announced it has closed a $5 million seed financing led by Kearny Jackson, with participation from Petra, a16z Speedrun, and strategic angel investors. The funding will accelerate product development, expand engineering and go-to-market teams, deepen integrations with enterprise knowledge systems, and support growing demand from consulting and other knowledge-intensive organizations.

Consulting firms accumulate decades of expertise across proposals, engagement data rooms, research, and client work, yet much of that knowledge remains difficult to find and reuse. Verra transforms that accumulated expertise into governed institutional memory, allowing consultants to build on the firm's best work instead of starting from scratch.

Across deployments, Verra reduces the time to a first draft of a client deliverable from approximately 80 hours to 10 to 15. Berkeley Research Group recently took Verra firmwide; among onboarded teams, more than 90 percent of consultants use the platform daily, reclaiming an estimated 215,000 analyst-hours annually.

“Consulting firms have spent decades building extraordinary intellectual capital,” said Kashyap Nathan, co-founder and CEO of Verra. “Now it's time to make that knowledge available to the next team, the next engagement, and ultimately every consultant.”

Raghav Vadlamani, Global Managing Director, AI Solutions, Berkeley Research Group, said, “Verra hands our teams finished, sourced first drafts on engagements that used to start from a blank page. It has changed how quickly we move for clients.”

The Keystone Group, one of Verra's first customers, has deployed Verra firmwide. “The platform has allowed us to democratize institutional knowledge and provided a tailwind to a number of knowledge management initiatives,” said Amar Shah, Managing Partner at The Keystone Group.

Founded in December 2025, with its headquarters in New York City, Verra is the institutional memory layer for consulting firms. The platform builds governed, dynamic knowledge bases around each firm's actual work, making decades of expertise available to every consultant and every agent, with permissions that mirror the firm's existing structure. Verra previously participated in a16z's Speedrun accelerator, where it raised a $500,000 pre-seed round.
